Determine your needs and wants in home buying

Buying a home can be overwhelming if you don't have a clear idea of what you're looking for. Do you want to live in the city or out in the suburbs? Are you looking for a detached property or perhaps a condominium? How many bedrooms and bathrooms will you need? What about a garden, or essential amenities in the area? Once you've come up with a list of requirements, you can save time by saving your preferred search parameters.

It’s buyer’s market galore right now with home prices down in months. Why is it that during the winter months, properties have a harder time selling? Is it the chilly weather that prevents people from venturing outside of their cozy homes? Or the constant flow of family coming in and out for the holidays that you can’t get away from? When you think about it, if you do need to venture outside for just a couple of hours to get away from the noise, why not go a little home hunting?
