National Cherry Blossom Festival

Welcome to the National Cherry Blossom Festival - the nation’s most revered springtime celebration!

Take part in the celebration of the spectacular trees gifted by the Mayor of Tokyo to D.C. citizens in 1912. This 4-week festival is jam-packed with free family events, with many focused on Japanese culture. Some of the most popular events include the Pink Tie Party (March 22), the Opening Ceremony (March 23), and Petalpalooza (April 6).

White House Easter Egg Roll 2019
